About | Mundane to Medieval Life

This blog is about blending my everyday life (mundane) with my medieval life I live through the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism). Although the word mundane does sound like my regular life may be boring, however it is just a light term for some of us in the SCA that we use, that just means, after being at an event for a weekend , we have to return to our normal lives. Granted our normal lives may not be boring any any means , it’s just not medieval life.

I plan on cover four topics of conversation from my past to present. Passions and Pastimes, My Medieval Life, Travels and Explorations, and All in a days work.

Passions and Pastimes: This is about my hobbies in and out of medieval life. Showing how the tow blend together and bounce off each other. I will share what I have learned , mot limited to, fiber arts, movies, books, research, games, gardening, cooking to name a few.

My Medieval Life: This is for me to share with you my stories, experiences, what I have learned and all the fun I have had since becoming a part of it. I hope to show how this has changed my life my families life and deepens my appreciation for everything. Travels and Explorations: This is one of my favorites. Clearly from the picture of the elephant in Africa this was one of my favorite trips ever. I love elephants! I will also share places that are closer to me that are just as beautiful and fun.

All in a Days Work: I will be discussing what I do for work. I will talk about sewing as a manufacturer and as an at home stitcher. I don’t like the word seamstress. I will also talk about owning my own business for the last 10 years.
