My first time at a medieval event I was in awe of the campsites that were set up. As I drove though the gate I felt butterflies in my stomach at the sight of the white period tents standing proudly with banners flapping in the wind. It has been a while since writing my last post. Spring is here and I am finally out of the winter funk that has consumed me. I was introduced to the Society for Creative Anachronism by a new friend who had been a part of it for 27 years. The Society for Creative Anachronism is a world wide organization that is dedicated to the re-creation of life during the Middle Ages.
