    My Medieval Life Beginnings

    August 30, 2020 / 13 Comments

I was introduced to the Society for Creative Anachronism by a new friend who had been a part of it for 27 years. A Stitch in Time

    August 15, 2020 / 5 Comments

I just got done watching this small but very informational series on fashion called A Stitch in Time. A friend of mine recommended this as a good show to watch so I decided to check it out. I love anything that is historical fashion. A Stitch in Time is available on Amazon Prime Video. The show is hosted by fashion historian Amber Butchart. She’s a great host and asks great in depth questions. For half hour episodes, they seem to last an hour because of how much information there is and because of the right questions are being asked. The show is only 6 episodes long, which is sad because…

The earliest pieced dress I have seen evidence for is from greenland I think and has 14 body pieces. However this may not be what you mean by a princess seam.
